Interpretations by Hernö Gin is a collectors series of gin with a creative twist. With their fifth interpretation , Hernö Slow Sloe Gin, they wanted to stretch both time and themselves further with the mindset Good things take time.
They let their Hernö Dry Gin mature for four months with ripe sloe berries to create their Hernö Sloe Gin, then they let it mature another four months on the same casks that they use to create their Hernö Juniper Cask Gin.
The gin is fruity with intense juniper, fresh juniper wood, a little sweetness and a mellow texture. Limited to 1, bottles.

New to the Australian market, Hernö Gin hails from Sweden, in the village of Dala just outside the City of Härnösand in Ångermanland. Hernö Gin Distillery was founded in by Jon Hillgren. At the time, it was Sweden’s first dedicated gin distillery and the world’s northernmost gin distillery. Five expressions of gin are produced from organic neutral wheat spirit and organic botanicals using the one-shot distillation method. The gin is non-chill filtered and cut with water from the distillery’s own well. Hernö GinHernö Gin (% ABV) is a London dry gin made from eight certified organic botanicals from around the world: juniper berries, coriander seeds, lemon peel, lingon berries, meadowsweet, black pepper, cassia and fresh vanilla. It has a round juniper character with fresh citrus notes, coriander spice and a hint of black pepper on the finish.
