Types of Visa to Russia
Outline
Most foreign tourists need to obtain a Russian travel visa before visiting Russia. Depending on the purpose and length of visit one can apply for different types of visa.
Citizens of 52 countries are able to enter Russia on an electronic visa and move around all over the country. The new rules came into force on January 1, A complete list of countries for which electronic visas to Russia are available is published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
An electronic visa can be issued for tourist, business, humanitarian and guest trips. Unlike a regular visa, an electronic one does not require a personal presence and is issued via the Internet. To obtain it, a foreigner needs to fill in a special form on the Foreign Ministry website and attach passport details and a photo. The application must be sent at least four calendar days before the expected date of travel to Russia. No need for an invitation, vouchers, or any other documents confirming the purpose of the trip.

Visa application form
The application struktur for Australian, Canadian, Georgian. UK and USA nationals when printed out should be in two pages, for all other nationalities- in one page. Kindly set up printing settings on your computer to ensure your application struktur has all frames and borders and all kunskap can be seen properly.
Please make sure that at the end of your visa application form you will need to choose the location you intend to visit and approximate time/date of submission of your application. If you fail to do so then you may be requested bygd a visa officer to fill in a new application form.
Upon completion of your application form please print it out, sign it and submit it at the Russian Visa Centre or in person at the Embassy of Russian statsförbund together with all support documents, betalning and passport. Så här ansöker du om visum till Ryssland
Processen för visumansökan kan först ses som omständig då man behöver visa upp dels reseförsäkringsintyg och en inbjudan (kan normalt fås av hotellet eller en resebyrå). Här nedan kan du se alla steg och vilka dokument man behöver inkludera i sin visumansökan.
Ansökan om visum till Ryssland sker på den Ryska visumcentralen i Stockholm eller Göteborg. Man kan också skicka sin ansökan via post.
Nödvändiga dokument
- Turistvoucher (kan oftast fås av hotellet) alternativt mot en avgift på rysk resebyrå.
- Ett giltigt pass med minst 2 tomma för myndighetens stämplar. Dessutom måste passet vara giltigt i minst sex månader efter att visumet gått ut.
- Ansökningsblankettför turistvisum (kan fyllas i online på &#; ), blanketten ska sedan skrivas ut och signeras. Ange även vilken visumcentral du tänkt göra ansökan på, Göteborg eller Stockholm.
